I am a first year PhD student of Health Policy and Administration aiming to specialize in Health Economics and Demography. My technical background is a rich blend of economics and computer engineering. Before joining the HPA program, I finished my Masters in Economics from Texas A&M University and Northern Illinois University. Over time, my research interests got crystallized into health economics and applied econometrics. Together with Professor Shenk, I research the socio-economic and health-related outcomes of South Asian women from a human ecological perspective.
